Spirit launches Myrtle Beach from Manchester, marking the airport’s first nonstop flight to South Carolina

MANCHESTER, NH, April 20, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) today celebrates the launch of its new route on Spirit Airlines for myrtle beach International Airport (MYR).

For the very first time, MHT can offer direct service to the state of Caroline from the south.

Services to myrtle beach has been upgraded from the A319 to the A320, increasing the number of available seats by 25%.

The MYR service replaces the seasonal routes of Manchester for Tampa the international airport (TPA) and Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) of Fort Myers. Both of these routes were originally scheduled to end today, but have been extended to May 4, 2022, due to their popularity. Flights are expected to return in the fall.
