James T. Prejsnar, 86, of Wilton, New Hampshire, died July 4, 2022 at Monadnock Community Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born on October 12, 1935 in New Castle, Pennsylvania to Stanley and Frances Prejsnar. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy. He served in the Korean War from 1954 to 1959. After graduating from the Capitol Radio Engineering Institute, Mr. Prejsnar was employed by the Federal Aviation Administration.

James and his family moved to Nashua in 1969 from Saratoga, New York. James has been a resident of Wilton since 1978. He became a member of the Wilton Lions Club in 1979 and has served in many club offices. The Wilton Lions Club honored James with the Melvin Jones Fellow Award, in 2008. This honor is for the dedicated humanitarian services James has rendered to the communities of Wilton and Lyndeborough.

After retirement, James worked as a contractor installing electronic equipment located at air traffic facilities throughout the New England area. He and his wife loved to travel. They traveled around the world enjoying different cultures and food.

James was predeceased by his wife, who died in 2010. Family members include two sons, James Prejsnar II and his wife, Jacqueline, of Attleboro, Massachusetts, and Joseph T. Prejsnar and his wife, Samantha, of Nashua; one daughter, Jennifer Prejsnar of Saint Charles, Illinois; one brother, Stanley Prejsnar and his wife, Patricia, of New Castle, Pennsylvania; and six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

James was blessed with six grandchildren, Payton, Kacye, Savannah, Quinn, Justin, Tristan; and great-granddaughter, Evelyn.
